Customizing your LinkedIn url is a great way to stand out from others, I recommend you use this opportunity to add a keyword which best describes the area you want to be known for.

For example I want to be known on LinkedIn for being an expert on LinkedIn so I added LinkedInHero as my customized LI url,
Here is my LinkedIn url > https://uk.linkedin.com/in/LinkedInHero
Here's how to customize your own LI url;
1. Hover over the profile tab and click Edit Profile from the dropdown.
2. Go to the end of your LI url and a Gear icon will appear. Click the Gear icon.
3. Click the Pencil icon on the right side of the page.
4. Enter your new LinkedIn url (choose something relevant to you). Then click Save.
Note: You will only be able to choose a url that has not already been taken by another LinkedIn user.
