How Do I Change My Twitter Username

This is a very easy thing to do as long as the name you want to change it to is available. See the simple steps below to change your Twitter username from your desktop computer.

Your Twitter username is correctly known as your Twitter handle, many people still do not know this.

1. Go to http://Twitter.com
2. Login to your Twitter account if you are not already logged in.
3. Click the profile icon in the top right of the screen.
4. Choose Settings from the drop-down menu.
5. Type your new name into the Username box (Twitter will automatically check if the new name you enter is available, you may have to try variations or a different name until you find one that is available)
6. Click Save at the bottom of the screen.
7. Re-enter your password to save the change to your account.
