The LinkedIn's Social Selling Index Score

LinkedIn decided to make the Social Selling Index available to everyone back on August 3rd 2015, as we all know social selling is extremely important for every business and entrepreneur.  If you visit here Social Selling Index LinkedIn page you will be able to instantly see you your score and also information on how you and your online brand are stacking up against competitors.
Here's is what you will see when viewing your SSI Dashboard...

For those of you with a score above 70 you are deemed to be an expert in the realms of social selling.

My Social Selling Index Dashboard

So what does the Social Selling Index Dashboard Tell You?

You can see how you are performing on four elements of social selling:~
  1. Establishing your professional brand
  2. Finding the right people
  3. Engaging with insights
  4. Building relationships
This help you to break down you efforts and begin to think about your social selling strategy whilst also allowing you to track your progress over time, this is going to help you understand how you’re improving over time and what is working for you.  Displayed is a simple color coded dashboard where you can clearly see your strengths and weaknesses.

At the bottom of the SSI Dashboard you can see how others in your industry and
also how others in your network are performing.

So if you deem your network to be a strong one filled with successful business people and
you are stacking up quite well then this gives you a measurement of how good you social selling actually is, on the other hand if you are not scoring so high within your successful network then this indicates you have room to improve.

My simple tip for this is to watch those who are scoring high and analyze their online strategy or to simply ask them for some advice on the matter.

If you are looking to find others with a high score then you can do this on Twitter by entering #GetYourSSI into the Twitter search bar, this will pull up those who have shared their score via Twitter.

Happy Hunting!
